Why I Do What I Do
Here's the story : I grew up in a house that could very well have been converted into a zoo, thanks to me. My parents had to deal with this hyper kid bringing home stray animals across all species imaginable and wanting to adopt them. I'd take home a different animal everyday - you name it, and I probably took it home and tried puppy-dog-face on my parents to keep it. Albeit for short durations, I've had caterpillars, ducks, chicks, a turtle, fish, snails, mice, squirrels, cats, dogs... the list goes on. I wanted to be a vet when I grew up.
Long story short, I didn't become a vet, but my love for animals tripled and quadrupled. And when I was old enough to take care of my own pet, my parents let me have a dog... Pepper! One of the most adorable dogs ever, Pepper has converted many of my "I'm-scared-of-dogs" friends into dog lovers. I've had him since he was two months old, when he would fit in the palm of my hand. He's now 17 and going strong! He's the Pet Photographer logo mascot and you'll see pictures of him on the website.
I wish I had pictures of him as a puppy, though. I don't have a single one! :(
Come to think of it, we all miss out on taking pictures of so many great moments with our pets, although they're such a big part of our lives. I decided not to miss any of Pepper's fun moments if I could help it, whether it's him chasing his tail or asking me for more food with that irresistible wide-eyed look.
A few years of photography later, I began doing what I've always loved to do - spending more time with my pets (we now have a cat named Pixel too) and other animals – by taking pictures of them! So, whether you want a framed picture or just a picture to share on Facebook, you're in the right place.
For availability and rates, please contact me via the Contact page. Tell me something about your pet in your message (name, what kind of pet, how friendly, how old, a fun fact) and also let me know what kind of pictures you're looking for (indoor / outdoor) and we can take it from there. :)
